Itematch (Rental App)

Itematch, similar to the well-known AirBNB model, is an innovative and user-friendly platform designed for renting a diverse range of items, providing a convenient solution for those in need of temporary use of specific products without the commitment of purchasing them. I am immensely proud of this project, as it marks my first significant role as a full stack lead within my company. This application is complex, featuring detailed booking management and integrated reminder systems. It's built on a diverse range of technology stacks, and notably, it employs serverless functions, specifically AWS Lambda, as a strategic approach to reduce operational costs and enhance efficiency. This project has also provided me with my initial experience in managing customer transactions internally within the system. I personally implemented Stripe for handling these transactions, integrating it both in the backend and frontend of the application. Additionally, the app gained significant recognition as it was featured in GITEX, one of the UAE's largest and most prestigious technology events, marking a notable milestone in my professional journey and the project's success.
